Bulls Triumph!

The script went to plan with the Bulls taking out the Super 14 final against the Stormers. They just seemed to have the edge in every department and collectively this proved too much for the men from Capetown. In the end the reliable boot of Morne Steyn kicked the Bulls to a deserved win. If the Stormers were to have any chance they needed Steyn to have an off night but this wasn't the case. Although the Stormers outscored the Bulls, 2 tries to 1, Steyne's 20 point haul from the match was the difference. The Stormers defended well but their decision not to over commit at the breakdown may have cost them. The Bulls just looked more complete and their game plan was sound. Like all champion teams, there is an air of invincibility surrounding the Bulls at the moment and much credit must go their charasmatic leader, Victor Matfield. If Andries Bekker was the student, then Matfield was the master. Fourie Du Preez had another great game for the Bulls and Schalk Burger tried hard for the Stormers. Overall a deserved win for the Bulls.
