Wallabies v Fiji: Preveiw

The Wallabies kick off their test campaign this weekend against Fiji. The only problem is, it won't be much of a warm welcome for the men from the Pacific Islands because it is being played in Canberra and temperatures will be less than tropical. However, the conditions will be the same for both teams and although the Wallabies will be expected to win, you can never underestimate the Fijians.

Arguably, 1 of the greatest wingers ever to grace a rugby field, Rupeni Caucaunibuca, makes a return after some time in the test wilderness. He had speed to burn and was renowned for those gliding runs that would often leave defenders floundering in his wake but it is doubtful that he can recapture that kind of form. However, he has been named in the centres for this match, which means he will never be far from the action.

Traditionally slow starters, the Wallabies will won't to make sure they get on top early because given a sniff the Fijians can be dangerous.
